Fixed pricing, zero surprises
Most people don’t fail because they’re ineligible. They fail because the evidence chain is incomplete, the civil records don’t match, or steps happen in the wrong order. Our process is built to prevent that: we review your documents first, confirm the correct package, then handle the legal work through to passport readiness.

How it works
image
Apply and upload documents
Submit your application and upload what you already have. Birth and marriage certificates, passports/IDs, name-change records, and anything linking you to your Polish ancestor. You don’t need to “guess” your package. We confirm it after review.
image
Eligibility confirmed, package assigned
Within up to 3 working days, you’ll receive: - a clear plan of attack - risk notes (what could block the case) - confirmation of the exact fixed-price package that applies Only after that do you receive payment instructions.
image
Civil records aligned (if needed)
If your case requires Polish civil record transcription (birth and/or marriage), we handle it so your records are consistent for the citizenship and passport stages. Important: original civil certificates submitted for transcription are kept in Polish archives and won’t be returned.
image
Citizenship confirmed, passport prepared
We prepare and submit the citizenship confirmation application, then manage the process through decision. Once confirmed, we guide you through passport readiness and prep for your in-person appointment. If you apply via a consulate, your passport is collected there.

Start with the free review

If you’re not sure which documents matter, don’t guess. Apply once, upload what you have, and we’ll confirm: - whether your case meets the official minimums - what’s missing (if anything) - the exact fixed-price package that applies

Not usually. Most applicants handle the passport step through their local consulate. Visa-free applicants may choose Poland-based collection if it fits their plans.

No. No one can guarantee a citizenship confirmation decision. What we can guarantee is correct filing, correct sequencing, and a clear risk assessment before you pay.

A PESEL is used in Polish administrative systems and can be assigned automatically during the passport/ID process when required.

We handle the prep and instructions. The appointment, biometrics, and pickup are done in person by the client.

After your documents are reviewed and your package is confirmed.

Polish passport by heritage: common questions

These are examples to show how the workflow changes depending on your documents. Your exact steps are confirmed during the free review.

  • Example A (Document-Ready): Applicant has clear proof of Polish ancestry and supporting documents. We file the citizenship confirmation application, manage communication, then guide passport readiness and appointment prep.
  • Example B (One Registration Needed): Applicant has ancestry proof but needs one Polish civil record transcription first (birth or marriage). We complete transcription, then file citizenship confirmation, then guide the passport step.
  • Example C (Two Registrations + Alignment): Applicant needs both birth and marriage transcription and record alignment (name/date differences). We complete transcription and alignment, then file citizenship confirmation, then guide the passport step.

If your evidence chain is missing key records, or your marital history affects civil record consistency, we’ll flag it during review. You’ll be told exactly what is needed, why, and what it will cost before any payment. If multiple routes exist, you choose the option that fits your timeline and budget.

It’s the formal process used when you don’t currently have a valid Polish passport or ID card that proves citizenship, but you believe you are already a citizen through ancestry.

Applications and supporting documents generally need to be filed in Polish, and foreign documents often require sworn translation.

In many cases, yes, depending on where you apply. The submission route depends on whether you’re applying inside Poland or via a consulate abroad.

Often, yes, especially for passport readiness and civil record consistency. Transcription is a common prerequisite step.

Because Polish records must match your identity details and lineage chain for the citizenship and passport steps to work cleanly.

No. Originals submitted for transcription are retained in Polish archives.

If key documents are missing, an archive search may be required. We’ll confirm that before you pay.

The legal decision timeframe can be up to 6 months once the case is in process, but real timelines vary with complexity and evidence.

In Poland, it’s commonly about a month. Via a consulate, you’ll get a predicted collection date from that consulate.

No. Appointment booking is handled by the applicant through the relevant consulate system. What we do is make sure you go in with the right documents, the right order of steps, and a clear checklist so you don’t lose time to preventable mistakes.

You can still complete the passport step through your local consulate. If Poland travel is not practical, the consulate route is the default.

A PESEL can be assigned automatically during the passport/ID process when required.

Then you use it. If any personal data in records needs alignment (name changes, spelling, etc.), we’ll guide the correction sequence.

Our packages are designed to include the legal work and the listed allowances. Passport issuance fees are paid directly to the passport office/consulate and vary by location.

After review, each additional family member gets 25% off the chosen package (when the cases can be bundled under the same evidence chain).

No. The price is confirmed after review and stays fixed unless a different scenario is agreed at the beginning (you’ll be told upfront).

English Wizards supports multiple payment methods including card and other options listed on our payment page.

If your case requires Polish civil record transcription (birth and/or marriage registration), the original certificate must be submitted and it won’t be returned. The document is retained in the Registrar’s Office Archives as part of the official record.

If you may need the document again for another country or process, we recommend you request additional originals or official duplicates from the issuing authority before sending anything.

For transcription, you should assume original documents are required. If you can’t obtain an original, submit what you have during the free review and we’ll tell you the safest next step. In many cases, the practical solution is ordering a new official duplicate from the country where the record was issued.

Yes. Passport applications require an in-person appointment. This is where biometrics are taken and identity is confirmed. We guide the prep and the sequence, but the client attends the appointment in person.

  • Appointment: booked by the client (the consulate usually instructs you directly)
  • Biometrics: completed in person
  • Pickup/collection: completed in person (rules vary by location)

If you have non-visa-free status, we ensure the passport is delivered to the correct consulate. You then arrange your own appointment and collection.
