for Payments to Wiz Global LLC trading as English Wizards

General Terms

  • English Wizards accepts payment via credit card, debit card, PayPal, bank transfer, and cryptocurrency.
  • Credit card and debit card payments are processed via Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, LTD). By paying via credit or debit card, you are also agreeing to Stripe’s payment terms.
  • Payments made via PayPal, bank transfer, or cryptocurrency must be made to one of the appropriate accounts listed on our payments page. Payments made to any account not listed here will not be accepted.
  • Credit card and debit card payments can be made only via English Wizards’ online payment portal and other payment forms.
  • Unless otherwise listed, all English Wizards’ programs, products, and services, are priced in Euro (EUR).
  • English Wizards also accepts payment via bank transfer in USD, GBP, and PLN, to the respective accounts for each currency listed on our payments page.
  • All payments that are received are subject to fees and charges, both from Stripe (1.5% – 3%) & currency conversion. In the case of full refunds for any services or products, these fees will be deducted.  This does not affect partial refunds up to 90% of the processed value.
  • When making a bank transfer payment in any currency not listed above, or making a PayPal payment in a currency other than EUR or PLN, all applicable currency exchange fees must be paid by the payer.
  • English Wizards processes all payment data in compliance with EU GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). By making a payment to English Wizards, you are agreeing to the collection of your data in compliance with English Wizards’ privacy policy.
  • As English Wizards (Wiz Global LLC) is registered in the USA and operates in Poland, all payments to English Wizards fall under US, Polish and European Union Law. Payments suspected of fraud will be immediately rejected and reported to the relevant authorities.

Payments for Program Fees

  • The pricing of English Wizards’ programs, and the services included, are mentioned on each applicable program page and on the support services page. Unless otherwise noted, other services or associated costs are not included in the price of an English Wizards program.
  • Registration and payment for an English Wizards’ program can only be made by candidates deemed by English Wizards as suitable for the given program. English Wizards reserves the right to cancel and refund any program fee payment if we believe you are not suitable for the registered program.
  • Payment for all programs can be split into installments, or alternatively made in one full payment.
  • When splitting the payment, a non-refundable deposit of €500 is required at the point of registration. English Wizards will not process a new registration for a program, nor reserve the place on the program, until this payment (or the full fee) has been received.
  • If purchasing the Placement Package, the remaining balance of the program fee must be paid before accepting a job placement at an English Wizards partner school.
  • All program fees for English Wizards’ programs are non-refundable, including the above-mentioned deposit and installment payments. The only exceptions are:
  • If the program is canceled, and we are not able to accommodate you on any other program;
  • If we cannot accommodate you on the program, and/or deem you to not be suitable for the program;
  • If we are unable to deliver on the services included in the program’s pricing. An exception to this is the Placement Package, which is also subject to conditions listed on the program page for which failure to deliver the job placement component does not make the package subject to a refund.
  • In order to request a refund for any of the above-mentioned reasons, a written notice of withdrawal from English Wizards must be made in writing. If approved by English
  • Wizards, the refund will be initiated by English Wizards using the original payment method and currency of your payment.
  • All refunds or requested chargebacks made without following this procedure will be immediately rejected.
  • All bank or other charges payable will be deducted from the money refunded.
  • By registering and paying for an English Wizards’ program, you are agreeing to be physically present in Poland for the arranged program date.
  • Orientation dates can be found on our program page. Arriving at or near one of these dates is required in order for the job guarantee of the Placement Package to be delivered
  • Although attending orientation is not mandatory, to reserve a spot in an orientation program, English Wizards must be notified of your travel arrangements at least one week prior to the scheduled start. Not attending an orientation program does not constitute a withdrawal from English Wizards, however English Wizards cannot be held responsible for the activities and support missed.
  • Outside of the Placement Package, registrations are not bound to any start date, however, upon registration, you will be asked to choose a start date, and will be expected to arrive no later than one month after your chosen start date.
  • Failing to be physically present in Poland for the start date of a job placement, or one month after your chosen start date for the Freelance Program, constitutes withdrawal from the program. No refunds shall be issued for such withdrawals, however date changes may be possible as per the next paragraph.
  • Registration and payment for an English Wizards program is valid only for the program date for which you have been accepted, or for outside the Placement Package, the date you choose upon registration.
  • Any requests for program date modifications must be made in writing to English Wizards, and are subject to English Wizards’ approval and program availability. English Wizards reserves the right to reject a request for date modifications for any reason.
  • Program date modifications may be subject to additional fees.
  • The above points do not apply to date modifications deemed necessary due to hardships and restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • English Wizards reserves the right to dismiss a participant from any of our programs if we believe that your behavior is inappropriate, unprofessional, or damaging to the image of
  • English Wizards or to the experience of other program participants. In the event of such a dismissal, no refunds shall be issued. Behavior that can result in dismissal includes, but is not limited to;
  • Not responding to urgent communication and/or not returning critical documentation in a timely manner;
  • Displaying communication or behavior around English Wizards’ staff, partner schools, other program participants, or other members of the Polish ESL community that is unprofessional or inappropriate;
  • Behaving in a manner that is damaging to the brand and reputation of English Wizards;
  • Actions that violate the English Wizards’ Terms & Conditions, any contract or agreement that you’ve signed with an English Wizards partner school or company, or Polish or EU law.

Payments for Other Services

  1. Services offered by English Wizards are listed on our support services page. Unless otherwise mentioned, these products and services are not included in the tuition and program fees for English Wizards’ programs, and are charged extra in accordance with the pricing listed on this page.
  2. Unless otherwise mentioned, support services are offered through trusted suppliers indicated on the above-mentioned page. The services included in each package are listed in on this page, and (when applicable) in the downloadable documentation provided by the supplier.
  3. Support service products can only be fulfilled when you have provided us with your arrival flight information or a requested start date.
    1. Once we have received your payment and flight information or a start date, product confirmation will be delivered via email within 5 business days.
    2. At this point, the product is deemed to be fulfilled, and can no longer be canceled, modified, or refunded for any reason.
    3. Upon making payment for an Accommodation Package or Medical Insurance Package, you agree to provide English Wizards with your flight information or start dateat least 5 business days before the date of which you have requested the product. English Wizards cannot guarantee the delivery of an Accommodation Package or Medical Insurance Package products in less than 5 business days.
  4. All Medical Insurance Package products are valid for 12 months, from the requested start date.
    1. Unless you request otherwise, the start date of emergency medical insurance will be the day you arrive in Poland (as per your provided flight itinerary), and the start date of private medical insurance will be the first day of the next month following your arrival to Poland.
    2. Requests for an alternative start date must be made in writing.
    3. When requesting a start date for private medical insurance other than the first of the month, you understand that the first calendar month will be counted as a full month, regardless of the number of days remaining.
  5. All Accommodation Package products are valid for two weeks (14 nights) from your date of arrival, unless a custom purchase is made.
    1. Unless you request otherwise, the start date of an Accommodation Package product will be the day you arrive in Poland (as per your provided flight itinerary).
    2. For a length of stay other than 14 nights, a custom pricing quote must be obtained from English Wizards and paid in full.
    3. Requests for an alternative start date or alternative stay duration must be made in writing.
  6. All support services offered by English Wizards can be refunded at any point prior to product fulfillment, as defined by paragraph 3 of this section.
    1. Refund requests for support service products must be made in writing. If approved by English Wizards, the refund will be initiated by English Wizards using the original payment method and currency of your payment.
    2. All refunds or requested chargebacks made without following this procedure will be immediately rejected.
    3. All bank or other charges payable will be deducted from the money refunded.
  7. All support service products can be upgraded or downgraded to another product of the same category as the original purchase, at any point prior to product fulfillment, as defined by paragraph 3 of this section.
    1. In the case of a downgrade, the price difference will be refunded as per the terms in paragraph 6 of this section.
    2. In the case of an upgrade, a custom payment invoice will be sent for the price difference. Alternatively, you can pay the price difference using any payment method indicated in section A, paragraph 1. The new product will not be delivered until the difference payment is fully paid.
  8. English Wizards bears no responsibility for the potential rejection of visas or residence permits during the fulfilment of our visa & residence permit support products.
    1. All government fees related to visa and residence permit applications are not included in the listed support packages, and are to be paid by the applicant.
  9. All support service products must be paid in full before the product can be delivered. With the exception of private medical insurance and accounting services (which can be paid with monthly installments), English Wizards does not accept installment or deferred payments for support services.
    1. If paying on a monthly plan for private medical insurance, payment must be made no later than the 20th of the month, for each following month. Any payments made later that will be counted to the following subsequent month, and service will be paused for the unpaid month.
    2. For accounting services paid monthly, payment must be made by the end of the calendar month. Any unpaid month will not have tax filings reported until a payment has been made.
  10. When paid on a monthly plan, accounting service payments are not refundable. If paid upfront, the following refund terms apply:
    1. If the service is canceled before a work permit or any other immigration documentation is prepared, a full refund can be offered.
    2. If a work permit and/or other immigration documentation has been provided, but the accounting service has not yet been used, a refund of 50% can be offered.
    3. No refund can be offered if accounting services have already begun.
  11. Payments for additional support services are also subject the the relevant terms and conditions for the individual service as provided by English Wizards and/or partner suppliers.
